COD in cooperation with Handicap International and Shia - the Swedish Organizations’ of Persons with Disabilities International Aid Association is organizing three days training from 25 – 27 May 2010 for representatives of nine local DPO coalitions and local authorities from Serbia. Trainers are COD Executive Director Zoltán Mihók and Dr. Sonja Vasić. The aims of this training are:
1)To raise of awareness on UNCRPD at the local level 2)To develop skills and tools for monitoring of implementation of CRPD at the local level 3)To understand how to monitoring the situation in the field of disability at the local level and how the monitoring can be implemented in their communities 4)To discuss possible models of future cooperation between local and national level for preparation of Alternative Report for CRPD from Civil Society This training is part of series of five trainings in South East Europe. Two trainings were organized in first part of May in Montenegro and Bosnia and Herzegovina, and two will be organized in Macedonia and Kosovo (UNSCR 1244) in end of Jun 2010. |
